Karmichael Hunt Arrested

Queensland Reds Rugby star and former Brisbane Bronco Karmichael Hunt has been charged for supplying cocaine by Queensland’s Crime and Corruption Commission.

Hunt will face court on four charges of supplying the illegal drug in connection to an alleged drug syndicate that included former NRL stars Jason Smith and Matt Seers, the business is apparently worth over a million dollars.

The former AFL and State of Origin star and current vice-captain of the Reds was arrested along with two other men and a woman.

The CCC released a statement saying: “They arranged for the supply of cocaine for personal use or to on-supply cocaine to friends and colleagues between June and December last year”.
